IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

BulkBag Warehouse products are intended for use only by trained individuals following safe lifting and material-handling practices. Failure to follow proper procedures may result in serious injury, death, or property damage.

Read Before Use

• Inspect every bag before each use. Do not use a bag that is torn, cut, punctured, worn, damaged, or otherwise compromised.
• Never exceed the manufacturer's stated Safe Working Load (SWL).
• Never exceed the recommended fill capacity or weight limit.
• Always use equipment that is rated for the weight being lifted.
• Always lift the bag using all designated lifting loops unless the manufacturer specifies otherwise.
• Ensure lifting loops are fully engaged and not twisted before lifting.
• Never lift a bag by the fabric body or any point other than the designated lifting loops.
• Keep the load balanced and centered during lifting.
• Lift slowly and smoothly. Avoid sudden starts, stops, jerking, or swinging.
• Never drag a loaded bag across the ground or rough surfaces.
• Never stand, walk, work, or place any part of your body beneath a suspended load.
• Keep all personnel clear of suspended or moving loads at all times.
• Never ride on a suspended bag or use a bulk bag for lifting people.
• Do not use damaged forklifts, cranes, slings, hooks, or lifting devices.
• Ensure forklift forks are the correct width and fully inserted before lifting.
• Protect bags from sharp edges, nails, metal corners, or abrasive surfaces that may cut or weaken the fabric.
• Do not expose bags to flames, sparks, excessive heat, welding operations, or open fire.
• Store bags in a clean, dry location and protect them from prolonged ultraviolet (UV) exposure unless specifically designed for outdoor storage.
• Use only for materials and applications for which the bag was designed.
• Do not modify, repair, sew, alter, or reinforce bags unless specifically authorized by the manufacturer.
• Keep children and unauthorized persons away from work areas during lifting and handling operations.
• Follow all applicable OSHA requirements, local regulations, and workplace safety procedures.
